While Wisconsin Dells may be world-famous for its water parks and large resorts, it is no slouch when it comes to finding unique places to eat. Here is our go-to list of some of the most underrated places to eat in Wisconsin Dells:

High Rock Cafe

High Rock Cafe is located in downtown Dells. It is very modern, with great customer service.  After viewing several reviews it is fair to say we agree with the customer when she states, “Prices were fair, service friendly, a good atmosphere and really good food. I would not ask for anything more.” – Julie O.

The Cheese Factory

Although the name mislead some of the customers. The Cheese Factory is a vegan based restaurant loved by both vegans and non-vegans. With great service, non-GMO, all organic food it is top notch for the health nuts. As said by Gibran, “In the land of brats and beer, there is a great healthy option. The food was great and the service matched. I normally do not eat Vegan/ Vegetarian but I might have been converted. My server offered Great recommendations and I loved them all. Moosejaw Pizza & Brewing Co.

If you’re looking for a cheesy pizza and some good beer do not skip a trip to Moosjaw Pizza and Brewing Co. Nick says it best, “If you’re in Wisconsin you gotta get the cheese and Moosejaw delivers it to the fullest! They make their own root beer and soda which is delicious! Staff is always friendly. Monk’s Bar & Grill

Known for its Top-notch cheese curds, loved by visitors and regulars, Monks is the kind of spot you’ll be making plans to come back to as soon as you finish your meal. With the latest game on the screens and a frosty glass of beer how can you go wrong? Keeping it simple, Laurence describes it perfectly,”just stopped in for a late night beer. cool place burger looked good would come back to have one”. This is, without a doubt, the best sport’s bar in Wisconsin Dells.

Del-Bar

The Del-Bar is raved as the hidden gem in the midst of the Dells. With its old school authentic charm, it is sure to please its customers. As a slightly upscale place to dine Del-Bar’s menu can be described as “totally worth it.” If you’re looking for a romantic night out spend your evening at Del-Bar. Pizza Pub

Endless pizza and a salad bar all in one place. Great service and large drinks! A recent customer says it best, “Have visited multiple times and continue to come back each time I’m in the Dells after being disappointed with other pizza restaurants in the area. Salad bar is always fresh, and thin crust pizzas are TO DIE FOR. ” -Haley S.

River’s Edge Bar

Rivers Edge is known as a unique find holding about 6 fish tanks that are great for entertaining the kids! It has a northwoods feel with good brew on tap for the adults. On friday’s they have fish fry’s and guests keep coming back for more. After enjoying her experience Marita says,”The service was wonderful, and very friendly.. The food was great.” – Marita M.

Sprecher’s Restaurant

If you’re looking for a variety of meal choices Sprecher’s has you covered. Their menu options range from Grilled Salmon to chicken quesadillas that are equally delicious. Not only are the meals phenomenal but they have great beers as well. A satisfied customer raves, “This stuff is truly significant opportunity destiny authenticity. The food was just as good the cheese curds were amazing my wife doesn’t like cheese curds loved em here. The burger was a quality well cooked burger and the grape soda on tap was amazing.” – Josh N.

Paul Bunyan’s Cook Shanty

Breakfast at Paul Bunyan’s Cook Shanty hits the spot. Warm sugar doughnuts and flapjacks are good and plentiful. A gift shop is attached with trinkets and goodies to view while you wait or after you’re finished your meal. Here is a brief word from a Dells visitor, “Best Breakfast place to go to when in the Dells.  All you can eat breakfast at a picnic table where you can be social with somebody next to you if you want.” – Neal R.

San Antonio Mexican Restaurant

Do you have real authentic Mexican food on your mind? San Antonio is where its at. With dishes like beef enchiladas and Agua de horchata for a drink you can’t go wrong. A review says it all, “They have the best Beef Fajitas…anywhere. Their salsa and chips are always awesome! Try not to get full just on this. And to top it all off their margaritas as well as full bar really bring it home. The best mexican restaurant I have been to in my life so far.” -Marcin S.
